Fletcher Consulting was engaged to manage the development of a new U.S. hub for International Baccalaureate (IB), relocating operations from New York to an initial 35,000 SF space designed to meet LEED standards. Following the successful completion of the initial buildout, Fletcher was retained for three subsequent expansion phases, ultimately growing the client’s footprint to more than 60,000 SF.
Phase 1 included a mix of office, workstation, and support areas, as well as a major conference facility that required substantial HVAC upgrades to meet performance and occupancy demands.
Our responsibilities spanned the full breadth of project delivery: cost and contract management, schedule oversight, architect and general contractor selection, audiovisual planning, and coordination with the client’s Singapore‑based IT consultant. Fletcher also procured and managed voice and data cabling vendors, supported furniture selection and procurement, coordinated closely with the landlord on TI allowance administration, and oversaw security vendor engagement and full relocation services.
Because the client’s real estate team and preferred vendors were dispersed across multiple countries and time zones, the project required a highly structured communication strategy.
